A TEENAGER has been arrested after a man was stabbed in the back and leg in Southwater.
The 25-year-old was hospitalised after suffering a punctured lung and dislocated shoulder following the stabbing last month.
Officers were called to the incident in Lintot Square on the evening of Sunday, April 4.
Police arrested a 17-year-old on Monday night, on suspicion of committing grievous bodily harm and possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
He has been released on conditional bail until June 7.
The injured man is now recovering at home and police are not seeking anyone else in connection with this incident.
A spokesman from Sussex Police said: "Police have arrested a teenager who was wanted in relation to a serious assault in Southwater last month.
"The 17-year-old was detained by West Sussex tactical enforcement officers and local response officers on Monday night."
