LANES on a major road that were blocked by a burning car have reopened.
One lane of the A27 after Stanmer Park was blocked as a result of the blaze.
The fire caused slow traffic for motorists heading westbound towards Worthing.
There were queues from the A270 Lewes Road junction.

According to an AA traffic report, the incident was first reported at 10.17am.
A spokesman said: "One lane is blocked and there is slow traffic due to a vehicle fire on A27 Lewes Road Westbound after the A270 at Stanmer Park."
