A MAN has been found dead on a beach in Shoreham.
Dozens of offices attended the scene on Kingston Beach this morning following the concerns for the welfare of a man.
Pictures taken from the scene show officers blocking the entrance to Shoreham RNLI lifeboat station, as investigators attend the site.
Police were called to the beach at 9.00am, where the man was pronounced dead.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesman from Sussex Police said: "Sussex Police attended Kingston Beach, Shoreham, following concerns for the welfare of a man.
"The man in his 50’s was sadly pronounced dead.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious and the matter has been passed to the Coroner’s Officer.
"Next of kin have been informed."
