My Policeman, a romantic drama which is being made by Amazon Studios, is being shot at locations across Sussex.
Film crews were spotted at the Royal Pavilion in Brighton, taking the historic building back in time to the 1950s.
These pictures show musician Harry Styles and his co-star Emma Corrin, dressed in period costume, walking arm-in-arm around the set.
Hundreds of extras can also be seen wandering around the Pavilion Gardens and several classic cars were parked up in the road.
Fans gathered at in the gardens and could be seen standing on top of bins and benches, in the hope of getting a better view of Harry Styles.
Large screens were erected to ensure that filming could go ahead without disturbance.
The film is set largely in Brighton and Hove, but locations in Worthing and Newhaven have also been used for filming.
My Policeman is based on Brighton Bethan Roberts’s 2012 novel of the same name.
Harry Styles will play Tom, the police officer of the title.
The story takes place in the late 1990s when the arrival of Patrick, an elderly invalid, triggers an exploration of events from 40 years previous – Tom and Patrick’s relationship at a time when being gay was illegal.
Award-winning theatre director Michael Grandage is shooting a screenplay by Oscar-winner Ron Nyswaner, who penned 1993 legal drama Philadelphia.
Corrin, 25, has become one of the industry’s most sought after actresses thanks to her acclaimed portrayal of a struggling Diana in series four of The Crown.
It has not yet been confirmed when the film will be released, but it is understood to hit the big screen next year.
Harry made his acting debut in Christopher Nolan’s 2017 war film Dunkirk and will star in Olivia Wilde’s psychological thriller Don’t Worry Darling.
