A SEARCH for a missing woman is continuing after she was last seen two days ago.
Rachel Murnagham is missing from Hailsham and concerns are growing over her safety.
Yesterday police launched an appeal to help find the 51-year-old.
She was last seen on Thursday morning.
Now PC Ian Codling said search efforts are continuing. He said: ““We are really concerned for the welfare of missing Rachel as she has not been seen or heard from in the last couple of days.
“We are appealing to everyone out and about over the weekend to keep a look out for Rachel and to call 999 if you see her. We believe she has links to Brighton, Rottingdean and Eastbourne.
“She is described as 5’ 6”, with shoulder-length brown hair and was last seen wearing black jeans, a black and white top, black ankle boots and carrying a black backpack.
“Rachel if you’re reading this, please make contact with us or one of the other emergency services.”
Police are urging people to dial 999 if they see Rachel.
