A CAR flipped over onto its roof in a crash this evening.
The A23 at Handcross southbound to the B2115 Nursery Lane at Warninglid was closed by police following the collision at about 6.20pm, and there were severe delays in the area.
The road has now been reopened but there may still be long delays, police said.

Writing on Twitter this evening, Inspector Darren Taylor at Sussex Police said reports came in from the public just after 6pm of a car "on its roof" and that other vehicles were involved in the crash.
He reported police units heading to the scene and said the fire service had been alerted.
