A "DISGRUNTLED" customer chucked their Greggs steak bake at a member of staff because it "wasn't warm enough".
The pastry missed a worker at the Burgess Hill branch of the popular bakery.
It is understood that no one was injured during the row at about 9.40am today.
A police officer said the customer flew into a rage over the temperature of their meaty meal.
