Hundreds of stores across the county will be open late on the weekend, as people make the most of the bank holiday.
But as people flock to gather last-minute supplies, it is good to know when you can expect your nearest Aldi or Lidl store to be open.
Here are the latest opening times for the two major supermarkets over the Early May bank holiday weekend.
Aldi:
German supermarket Aldi will be open throughout the bank holiday weekend for shoppers across the region.
There opening hours this weekend are:
- Saturday May 1: 8.00am to 10.00pm
- Sunday May 2: 10:00am to 4.00pm
- Monday May 3: 8.00am to 8.00pm
Aldi and Lidl will be open over the May bank holiday
Aldi has also extended its click-and-collect service to over 200 stores, meaning thousands of shoppers can access Aldi groceries online at unbeatable prices this Bank Holiday.
Customers wanting to use click-and-collect can visit groceries.aldi.co.uk to book a timeslot for collection in selected stores.
Lidl:
During the Bank Holiday, Lidl has confirmed the majority of stores across England and Wales will be open from 8.00am to 8.00pm.
- Saturday May 1: 8.00am to 9.00.pm
- Sunday May 2: 10:00am to 4.00pm
- Monday May 3: 8.00am to 8.00pm
