A YOUTH is now under curfew after his latest crime spree.
The 15-year-old, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, stole alcohol from Waitrose in Haywards Heath.
He also entered the Triangle Leisure Centre in Burgess Hill as a burglar with intent to steal.
Worthing Youth Court heard how the youth spouted racist abuse and threatened violence during his raid on Waitrose last year.
He also attacked a police officer there.
Two days later he was found attempting to burgle the leisure centre on March 25 last year.
Then in July last year he admitted a “grievous” attack on a boy in Brighton and possessing cannabis.
The crimes put him in breach of criminal behaviour orders designed to curb his offending.
The teenager was told to pay £75 in compensation to the victim of racist abuse.
As part of a Youth Rehabilitation Order he was put under curfew for eight weeks at a property in Burgess Hill.
It means the 15-year-old is not allowed out between 8pm and 5am. The order expires on May 19.
The court also imposed an exclusion order for him not to enter Waitrose in Haywards Heath for three months.
