A FOUL-MOUTHED oaf was spared a prison spell for spitting at police... again.
Peter Davy was abusive and insulting to police who arrived to deal with him in Brighton.
The 66-year-old was previously one of the first people in the country to be jailed over spitting at police and neighbours and making coronavirus threats in March last year.
He was jailed for 12 weeks over the incident, and was condemned by Police Chief Superintendent Nick May.
But the abusive pensioner was back in court this month where he admitted once again spitting at police.
At Brighton Magistrates’ Court it was revealed he admitted assaulting PC Thomas Davis and using threatening, insulting or abusive behaviour likely to cause alarm or distress.

The court heard how disgusting Davy had spat on the emergency worker.
It followed his prison spell for the spitting incident in Brighton in March 2020.
Davy had spat through a neighbour’s letterbox and spouted homophobic abuse.
When police arrived, he shouted: “Leave me alone, I will spit on you, I’m infected with coronavirus. I will kill you.”
He then spat repeatedly, with some spittle landing on a PC’s neck. Davy then fled into his flat where he refused to open the door.
Davy made the “appalling” threats, despite the fact that he himself has chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (Copd) which makes him highly at risk of the virus.
He was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, where he continued to abuse officers, telling them to “f*** off” and made more homophobic slurs.
“I’m here because I called my neighbour a f***ing homosexual,” he said.
At the time, Davy was jailed for 12 weeks by District Judge Amanda Kelly.
She told him: “To spit at someone is disgusting, but to do so in the midst of a national emergency is completely and utterly despicable.”

Troubled Davy, of Albion Street, Brighton, was also previously jailed over a terrifying drunken incident in 2014.
He was seen brandishing a pickaxe handle at a guest and struck the man three times about the head.
Davy was sentenced to 15 months in prison for the attack.
This month, he was spared an immediate prison sentence for spitting at PC Davis in Albion Street, Brighton.
The incident happened in October last year.
Davy was ordered to pay £50 compensation, a £128 surcharge and £85 costs. He must also complete 12 rehabilitation sessions as part of an 18-week suspended sentence.
