A CAR has left the road and ploughed through a house in Burgess Hill.
Emergency services, including West Sussex Fire and Rescue crews, were called to the scene in Perryfields, at 6.55pm last night.
Pictures taken from the site show the white Mercedes wedged in the building, after leaving the road and ploughing through the wall of a house.
Onlookers can be seen watching on behind a police cordon, as the fire service's Technical Rescue Unit made the scene safe.

Writing on Twitter, a spokesman from West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said: "Two crews from Burgess Hill Fire and Rescue Service and the Technical Rescue Unit were called to a road traffic collision involving a car and a home in Perryfields, Burgess Hill.
"Crews were called at 6.55pm today to make the scene safe.
"Sussex Police also attended."
