A LIDL store in Sussex will be closed for about four months from May 5.
The supermarket in Seaside, Eastbourne, is set for an upgrade with works to modernise the site starting next month.
Improvements will be made to the car park, in-store lighting and landscaping. There will also be new bicycle storage hoops, heating, and ventilation systems.
Lidl GB’s regional head of property Adam Forsdick said: "We’re extremely excited for work to now begin so that we may bring the local community an even better Lidl shopping experience.
"We are grateful for all the support that we have received so far and would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding while we enter this next phase of the development."
Staff will be stationed at nearby stores while the work is completed. Customers have been advised that the nearest store is in Dittons Road, Polegate.
