Mid Sussex Police were called to a fight outside the Premier Inn hotel in Haywards Heath
A LARGE fight involving "up to 20 people" broke out outside a hotel on Saturday night.
Mid Sussex Police were called to the scene off the B2028 Perrymount Road at 11pm.
One person was arrested on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly, but the cause of the fight is currently unknown.
Mid Sussex Neighbourhood Policing Inspector Darren Taylor revealed further details of the altercation in a post on social media yesterday.
Hesaid: "Our team responded to numerous reports of an alleged fight involving up to 20 people by the Premier Inn in Haywards Heath last night at 11pm.
"No one was willing to tell us what had started it or what had happened, however one person is in custody for being drunk and disorderly."
