It comes after Uber Eats reportedly sent a message to all Brighton and Hove delivery drivers warning them not to break road rules.
Delivery drivers said they received the message from the takeaway company following reports of rule-breaking on a city-centre street.
It followed residents' claims that hundreds of moped riders a week were using an illegal shortcut in Hampton Place while delivering food.
