POLICE are searching for a knifeman after a man was found with a stab wound in his back.
Police were called to the scene in Lintot Square, Southwater, at 8.20pm last night after reports of an assault.
One man was found with a stab wound to his back.
Officers attended the scene and carried out searches in the area.
Pictures taken from the scene show a forensic officer examining items on the ground, while blue police tape marks out a cordon.

A spokesman from Sussex Police said: "Police were called to Lintot Square, Southwater, at 8.20pm on Sunday, April 4, to reports of an assault.
"One man was found with a stab wound to his back and is currently being treated by paramedics.
"Officers attended the scene and are carrying out searches enquiring into the area.
"Anyone who saw what happened or who has any other information has been asked to call the police by ringing the 101 and quoting serial number 1149."
