THE drummer from indie stars Two Door Cinema Club has been banned from the roads for drink driving.
Ben Thompson, 29, failed a roadside breath test after being stopped in his Audi RS5 following a seaside barbecue.
The musician, from Worthing, was confronted by police at a car park in the early hours of the morning.
He had drunk three cans of Hooch and a shot of champagne at socially distanced birthday celebrations.

Brighton Magistrates Court heard how a test showed he had 49ml of alcohol in his breath. The legal limit is 35ml.
Thompson told Brighton Magistrates Court he was moving his car to avoid it being vandalised when he was spotted by police.
But District Judge Amanda Kelly said she believed he was intending to drive home when a marked police car prevented him from leaving.
She said: “If you were that worried about the car, I don’t know why you would have left it there till 2.30am.
“Looking at the footage, I simply don’t believe you weren’t going to drive out of that car park."
Two Door Cinema Club formed in 2007 and have since released four albums.
Thompson tours with the Irish act, he has played at Glastonbury and in the United States.
He also owns cocktail bars, however his income has been hit by lockdown and he has had no work with the band.
Thompson was banned for a 12 months although this will be reduced if he completes a drink driving awareness course.
He was also fined £500 and ordered to pay £684 in costs and surcharge.
