TRIBUTES have been left for a man who was found dead in the centre of Brighton.

Flowers have been left in Queens Road after a man was found "unresponsive" near the Clock Tower on Friday.

Police and ambulance personnel were called to the scene at 6.37am.

Officers responding to the incident and cordoned off part of the road. A black tent was erected outside Mr Leo barbers.

The road was partially closed while enquiries were carried out.

A spokeswoman for the force at the time said: "The death is being treated as unexplained but it is not thought to be suspicious at this time."

However, at about 8.45am the spokeswoman said: "Road closures are due to be stood down and police would like to thank the public for their patience and understanding."

The tributes left outside Mr Leo barbers this moring include flowers and candles as people in the city paid their respects.
