A MAN is to face court tomorrow charged with assaulting a woman.
Police launched an appeal on Friday for the public's help in locating Valerrijus Serebriakovas in connection with an investigation.
After receiving information from the public, officers found and arrested the 42-year-old yesterday.
Serebriakovas, unemployed and of no fixed address, was charged with two offences of assault by beating against a woman known to him.
He is due to appear in custody at Brighton Magistrates Court tomorrow.
Sergeant Alec Barrett at Sussex Police said: "We are grateful for the information. Help from the public in tracing alleged offenders is always welcomed."
