A 15-YEAR-OLD BOY was set upon by two young people, it has been reported.
Police were called to The Strand in Worthing yesterday afternoon to deal with the incident.
Officers had received a report that, shortly before 5.30pm, two young people attacked the teen.
They arrived at the scene and identified the victim, who had a minor hand injury.
Police then launched a search of the area in an attempt to track down those responsible.
A section of pavement outside a convenience store was blocked off with police tape and witnesses told The Argus they had seen members of Sussex Police's criminal investigation department at the scene.
Officers remained stationed at the scene for several hours.
