A SUSPECTED flasher has been arrested after a 13-year-old girl reported a man had exposed himself in a street.

The incident happened at about 8.15am on Tuesday in the street near Littlehampton railway station, police said.

A man from Littlehampton has been arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure and has been released under investigation.

Police are appealing for any witnesses and have described the suspect as white, aged between 50 and 60 years old, approximately 5ft 9in and of a chubby build, with greying hair.

PC Gordon Muir of Chichester CID said: “We would like to hear from anyone who has relevant information that could help us in our investigations.

"In particular we would like to speak with a woman who was walking only a short distance behind the victim and may also have seen the suspect.”
