A MAN appeared in court accused of inflicting grievous bodily harm.
Daniel Cowley denied causing the harm to Nicholas Grant in Brighton.
The 42-year-old is alleged to have punched Mr Grant and caused two broken vertebrae in his spine.
He appeared before Brighton Magistrates’ Court where he denied inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent.
Cowley, of Swanborough Drive, Brighton, spoke to confirm his name and address and to plead not guilty during the ten minute hearing earlier this month.
District Judge Tessa Szagun said the case would be sent to the Crown Court in April to find a listing date for a trial.
