A courageous neighbour rescued a resident from a burning building after a fire started in a first floor bathroom.
Fire crews remain on the scene after the blaze broke out at a property in West Street, Shoreham, this morning.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service (WSFRS) was called shortly before 9.30am, with two teams sent to the scene alongside an ambulance crew.

Before they arrived, a brave neighbour was able to rescue one of the people living in the house.
Fire crews then burst on to the scene and quickly located a second resident, who was taken to safety.
All residents have now been accounted for, WSFRS has confirmed.

A spokesman for the service said: "We are at the scene of a fire involving a property in West Street in Shoreham. Joint Fire Control was alerted to the incident at 9.26am and mobilised one fire engine from Shoreham and two from Worthing to the scene. Paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service are also in attendance.
"One resident was rescued by a neighbour prior to our arrival, and crews quickly located another resident and brought them to safety. All persons are now accounted for.
"The fire broke out in the first floor bathroom, and firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire using one high pressure hose reel, a safety jet and a covering jet.

"Crews remain at the scene and are ventilating the property and using a thermal imaging camera to ensure there are no further signs of fire within the property.
"People are urged to avoid the area for the time being to allow crews to work safely. Residents living nearby should keep their windows and doors closed."
At 11.22am, West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service provided an update
A spokesman said: "Firefighters extinguished the fire using one high pressure hose reel, a covering jet and a safety jet.
"Crews remain on the scene ventilating the property and using a thermal imaging camera to ensure there are no further hotspots."
