ITV has now confirmed that the 120-minute show will air for the first time at 8pm on Sunday, March 14.
It is based on the international best-selling book "Dead Simple" by Sussex author Peter James, and follows fictitious Detective Superintendent Roy Grace, played by John Simm, as he looks to track down a property developer who went missing just days before his wedding.
Haunted by the disappearance of his wife Sandy six years ago, and with a reputation for using unorthodox methods to get the job done, Grace throws himself into his work.

With nothing but instinct, a lingering suspicion and his obsessive nature, the detective doggedly pursues the groom’s disappearance and becomes uneasily close to the bride-to-be.
Grace was filmed on location in Brighton during 2020 with executive producers Andrew O’Connor and Paul Sandler for Second Act Productions, Patrick Schweitzer for Tall Story Pictures, Michael Vine for Vaudeville Productions, and Russell Lewis and Peter James.
The first film, based on Peter James' novel Dead Simple, is directed by John Alexander (Belgravia, Trust Me, Jamestown). A second Grace film, based on another of the Sussex author's books, Looking Good Dead, will air on ITV later this year. It was directed by Julia Ford (Sticks and Stones, The Bay II, Safe).
