A MAN was caught driving somewhere he should not have been as police stopped a car in Brighton yesterday morning.
The 42-year-old was halted by officers as he drove along Wilson Avenue shortly before noon.
Two police cars pulled up at the side of the road, sandwiching the stopped car. Witnesses said several police officers climbed out and then proceeded to speak with the driver.
Sussex Police have confirmed that he was found to be in breach of bail conditions by being in that area of the city.
A force spokeswoman said: "Police proactively stopped a car in Wilson Avenue, Brighton, at about 11.30am on Sunday, February 28.
"The driver – a 42-year-old man – was found to be breaching his bail conditions by being in the area."
