THERE are blue skies over Brighton today with the city set to enjoy a sunny weekend.
Clouds are not expected to roll in until Sunday afternoon, the Met Office has forecast.
But, despite these clear conditions, temperatures are expected to stay mild.
The Met Office predicts the mercury will fall to 3C in the early hours of tomorrow morning, but this will pick up to about 11C between 11am and 4pm as the sun emerges.
Sunday will be slightly colder on average, the weather service said, with temperatures peaking at 10C between noon and 3pm.
But Brighton is expected to stay dry over the weekend, with a less than five per cent chance of precipitation today, tomorrow and Sunday.
The Met Office has forecast almost cloudless skies until noon on Sunday, with "sunny intervals" predicted between midday and 3pm, followed by "cloudy" conditions for the remainder of the day.
