Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan has shared a horrific social media comment threatening to kill him.
The Newick-born broadcaster said police visited his house to take a statement after he was told he was a "marked man" on Instagram.
Piers, who has been a vocal supporter of holding social media trolls accountable, shared a screenshot of the message on Twitter.
The comment said the former Mirror editor was a "marked man" and "calling the police, big tech or beefing up your security isn't going to stop us getting to you".
It added: "This isn't a threat Piers, it's a promise, your getting killed (sic)."
But, in a damning indictment on the frequency of these messages on social media sites, Piers shared it with the caption: "Another day, another death threat."
"Let's see how big and tough he feels when I give him the exposure he deserves," the 55-year-old said.
Another day, another death threat... this one from someone using the name ‘stevienewcombe’ on Instagram. Anyone know who he is?

He later added: "I’ve reported these death threats to the Met Police and look forward to hearing back from them.
"I’m also keen to hear what steps Instagram and Facebook are taking to identify the person who made the death threats on their platform and has now deleted their account."
One Twitter-user replied:"Unfortunately Piers, when it comes to social media, the police do very little. That's just what I found in Merseyside anyway.
"They don't have the resources or time to trace account."
But, Piers responded on Wednesday, "they're definitely taking this seriously.. they're round my house now taking a statement."
He has previously called for online trolls to face harsher punishments and fines.

When Manchester United star Marcus Rashford was targeted online earlier this month, the Good Morning Britain host said those responsible for the vile, racist abuse to be held responsible for their actions.
He said: "These racist yobs, thugs, criminals actually, I would imagine in some cases, we've got to start finding out who they are.
"But, when we catch these people, take them to court and fine them £100,000 each time there is vile, racist abuse. And, let me tell you, it stops in a month.
"We've got to do this. Why should these footballers be subjected to this kind of abuse? It is absolutely disgusting."
