A SPEEDING driver was clocked 24 times speeding on the A259.
Phillip Sheehan drove along the busy coast road through Hastings between May and July last year.
He was driving a Fiat 500 Abarth through the town, where the speed limit is fixed at 30mph.
Sheehan, 54, was named at Brighton Magistrates’ Court last month over the speeding offences.
There are two speed cameras listed in the town, at Marine Parade and at the junction with Old London Road, both on the A259.
Sheehan, of Egerton Park Road, Bexhill, admitted the 24 counts and was ordered to pay a £678 fine, £68 surcharge and £110 costs.
He was banned from driving for one year following the court hearing on January 22.
