Police have launched a search to find a 17-year-old boy who has been missing for almost a week.

Somto Igboayaka comes from East London but is known to frequent the Worthing area.

He has been missing since last Thursday, and was last seen in Crawley.

Somto is black, 6ft 1in tall and of medium build.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: "There is increased concern for Somto's welfare and safety due to his age and the continued lack of information about him.

"Anyone who sees him or knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact Sussex Police on 101 or 999, quoting serial 1117 of 15/02."
