WE have certainly come to appreciate our pets' company more amid the coronavirus lockdown.
But it seems some furry companions have overtaken other members of the household in our affections.
Research shows almost one in three people would prefer to spend Valentine's Day with their pet than their partner.
Nearly half of survey respondents said they plan to spend this year's romantic occasion with their pet, according to bed specialists Time4Sleep.
And it seems many people want to treat their animal soulmate this year too, as Google searches for "pet gift" have risen by 263 per cent since the beginning of February.
If you are planning on giving your cat or dog a bit of luxury, one of these bespoke pet beds from Time4Sleep could be the "purrfect" way to show them how much you care.
On offer is the wooden Ruff Ruff Rattan Bed and the Pup-vision TV Bed, while the Store and Snore Doggy Ottoman even has an added storage drawer for pet's toys.
The pet beds are all exact replicas of the retailer's most popular designs, and have a price tag to match their opulence, starting from £304.
Also included in the furniture range is the Vintage Cat Condo, which also doubles up as a bedside table, and the Meowna Lisa Pet Scratcher.
If that was not enough, the Ultimate Hound Hamper includes biscuits, a bow tie and grooming spray, so your pooch can enjoy a Valentine’s night of pampering by your side.
