THERE are concerns for the safety of a missing girl who is believed to have travelled to Brighton.
Maisie Stretch from Hastings has not been seen since leaving her home in the Bromsgrove area of Hastings at about 3pm on Wednesday.
Sussex Police have issued an appeal for help in locating the 16-year-old, saying there are "concerns for her safety and welfare".
Anyone who sees her is being urged to call 999 immediately.
The force believe Maisie has travelled to the Brighton and Hove area by train.
She is white, about 5ft 4in tall and of medium build with long, ginger hair that may be in braids.
She is likely to be wearing jeans with rips and a black coat with a fur hood.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: "Anyone who sees her or who knows of her whereabouts if asked to dial 999 immediately quoting serial 1315 of 10/02."
