BRIGHTON and Hove has been named as one of the best city’s in the UK to own a pet.
It was named the second most pet friendly city in the UK due to the number of pet friendly properties to rent, dog friendly restaurants, dog and cat groomers, walking routes and nature parks in the area.
Research by estate agent Coulters found that Brighton is the perfect city to enjoy a meal out with your four legged friend, having 69 dog friendly restaurants and cafes - which works out as 28.2 per 100,000 people.
Southampton snapped up first place as the most pet friendly city and Birmingham is stuck in last place.
