A BRIGHTON man has been charged with a string of serious offences including making indecent images of children.
Lloyd Collins of Montpelier Road was charged following a Operation Oakgrove, an investigation by detectives from the Brighton Safeguarding Unit.
Following the operation, the unemployed 29-year-old will also face trial on charges alleging sexual activity with a teenage girl, being concerned in the supply of cannabis, assaulting an emergency worker, and racially aggravated threatening behaviour against another police officer.
He appeared at Brighton Magistrates' Court last Friday where he was remanded in custody to make an initial appearance at Lewes Crown Court on February 26.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: "The prosecution, authorised by the CPS, follows an investigation, Operation Oakgrove, by detectives from the Brighton Safeguarding Investigations Unit."
