ARMY bomb disposal experts were called in to blow up a "suspected grenade" found at a popular dog walking spot in Hove.
Police were called to Three Cornered Copse shortly before 2pm after a suspicious item was found.
The woodland, which consists of an area of eleven acres, is a popular walking spot for residents in the area.

A 100m meter cordon was put in place while Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) attended the scene.
A controlled explosion was carried out on the device and the scene was cleared by 7.15pm.
