AN INQUEST has been opened into the death of Brighton restaurateur Sue Addis.
The 69-year-old mother and grandmother was found dead at her home in Cedars Gardens in Withdean, Brighton, on the evening of Thursday, January 7.
A 17-year-old was charged with murder on Friday, January 8. He will appear in crown court for a plea hearing next Thursday, February 11.
Ms Addis, who ran the Donatello restaurant in The Lanes and Pinocchio in New Road, was also a prominent fundraiser for numerous charities in the city.
An inquest into her death was opened on Friday at Brighton Coroner's Court.

The coroner adjourned the full inquest until later this year, giving a holding date of July 29.
