Train services will change from Monday, February 22, with the new timetable focusing services on early morning, late evening, and peak times.
Among the 16 listed route changes, services from Brighton, Eastbourne and Newhaven will be reduced.
An hourly service will now run in both directions between Brighton and Ore, while shuttle services between Hove and Brighton will not run after 7.30am.
The frequency of services between Newhaven Town and Seaford will also be reduced during quieter periods of the day.

While the 6.36am Eastbourne and 6.50am Seaford departures have been scrapped.
A spokesman for Southern Rail said: "A smaller timetable will also ensure that services are as reliable as possible for people travelling at a time when railway staff, like everyone, are affected by coronavirus.
"Our priority is to provide a safe and reliable service for key workers who are keeping our country running through this difficult time.
"We will continue to review train services to ensure we best meet demand in the future.
"The new timetable is being uploaded into journey planners, such as www.nationalrail.co.uk now and will be completed over the next few weeks."
