THANK you for including the beautiful aerial views of Valley Gardens in Harry Bullmore's piece of January 28.
It reminded me of pictures of Central Park in its lushness surrounded by concrete.
We are truly blessed in Brighton and Hove - this progressive Green council has worked collaboratively with Labour colleagues through pandemic challenges.
As you wander through the beautifully designed walkway flanked by an extra 135 trees and wonderful plants you are offered a choice.
You can choose to leave your car behind, crucial for the protection of our planet.
But if you need to drive the roads are well designed for easy flow and it works. I have done both.
In my opinion this has been a real success story and I look forward to the next phase of the development.
It is easy to knock the council and many do but I believe they have really triumphed here and are on the right side of history.
So many thanks from a grateful resident.
