NO TRAINS can currently call at a railway station due to flooding.
There are no trains running towards Brighton and London from Worthing station after water filled the underpass leading to platforms one and two - leaving them inaccessible.
Disruption is expected to last until 10am.
A Southern Rail spokesman said: "The underpass that connects the station entrance at Worthing with platforms one and two is flooded.
"It's not possible to reach the platforms so trains towards Hove, Brighton, or London will run non-stop through the station until further notice.
"The local station manager for Worthing is aware and has arranged for drainage workers to attend and pump the water away."
The spokesman said an update would be provided to passengers "when the drainage team arrive at the station and give us an estimate for when the water will be cleared".
He also advised that anyone looking to travel on a route which passes through the station should "leave some extra time for your journey".
Update at 10.28am
A Southern Rail spokesman said: "We have been advised that it is safe to call at Worthing again in either direction.
"Our control teams are in the process of updating journey planners.
"If you have been delayed by 15 minutes or more, please remember claim compensation below."
