A CARELESS driver struck a cyclist then failed to stop and report the crash.
Bobbie Hilton was driving in Western Road, Brighton when her Vauxhall hit cyclist Alexander Harris.
Mr Harris was left injured in the crash and his bicycle was damaged.
But Hilton failed to stop.
The 31-year-old, of Eltham Road, Lewisham, appeared before Brighton Magistrates’ Court earlier this month.
She admitted failing to stop after causing an injury and damage to a cyclist, and driving without due care and attention during the incident in May last year.
Hilton must complete 60 hours of unpaid work and pay a £95 surcharge and £25 court costs. Seven points were added to her licence.
