A MAN has been charged with rape and sexual assault against a woman in Hove.
This comes after a Sussex Police investigation uncovered a series of images which were found on an electronic device.
The woman is 18 and is currently receiving support from specially trained officers.
Police believe the sexual offences took place over a two year period which began around June 2019.
Daniel Curtis of Goldstone Way in Hove has been charged with three counts of rape, seven counts of sexual assault by touching and one count of causing a person to engage in sexual activity without their consent.
The 38-year-old appeared before Brighton Magistrates' Court on Saturday and has been remanded to appear at Lewes Crown Court on February 15.
