Mr Kenneth Douglas Funnell 1926- 2020 Ken passed away at the Royal Sussex County Hospital on the 31st of December 2020, aged 94 years. Loving Husband Father and Grandfather he will be dearly missed by all who knew him. The funeral will be held at The Downs Main Chapel at 1pm on the 20th of January. No flowers please. Lawrence John Raymond John sadly died on 7th January, aged 90, at Havelock House, Polegate, where he had been wonderfully cared for since March 2020. John was married to the late June for over 53 years and was a proud Dad to Jan(et) and Ian and a loving Grandad and Great-Grandad. John was a butcher in Brighton and latterly, Seaford at ‘Joint Venture’. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends, a real character, ‘the singing butcher’!
