THREE men were arrested on suspicion of dealing cannabis when a car was stopped.
Police flagged down a vehicle by officers in Old Shoreham Road, Hove at 7.30pm on January 5.
They later found £10,000 at an address in Prestonville Road, Brighton during a search.
A 27-year-old driver from Brighton was arrested on suspicion of drug driving, possessing a class B drug with intent to supply, and acquiring, using or possessing criminal property.
Police carried out a search at a property, and a 19-year-old man from Hackney was arrested on suspicion of possessing a class B drug with intent to supply, and concealing, disguising or removing criminal property.
Finally a 17-year-old youth rom Hackney was arrested on suspicion of the same drugs charge and for possessing criminal property.
All three were being questioned by the police this week.
Inspector Claire Stephenson said: “This is an excellent example of teamwork with the Tactical Firearms Unit and Roads Policing working together to tackle the supply of drugs and help keep our local communities safe.
“If you have information or concerns about drugs then we want to know about it. Anyone with information is urged to make the right call and report it to us online or by calling 101.”
