TRAINS due to run between Horsham and Dorking have been cancelled until next year after a landslip was discovered on Boxing Day.
Services scheduled to run on the line have been scrapped for the rest of 2020 as work takes place to repair the track.
Network Rail staff were carrying out safety checks of the track near Ockley when they discovered the landslip.
The planned work means there will be no direct Southern services between London Victoria and Horsham, Bognor Regis, Portsmouth or Southampton.
Southern trains will only run between Horsham and Portsmouth, Bognor Regis and Southampton.

A spokesman from Southern Rail said: "f you're travelling between coastal stations and London, you will need to change trains at Horsham and again at East Croydon if you wish to travel to London Victoria.
"Ticket restrictions will be lifted to allow you to use either Southern or Thameslink services to complete your journey.
"Engineers are now working on a technical solution to deal with this. Unfortunately, a quick repair is not possible, so additional engineering works will take place during this week."
