THERE is severe disruption across an entire rail network this morning due to a power failure.
The power issue, which happened between Gatwick Airport and Three Bridges, has now been resolved but passengers are still advised not to travel as trains continue to be cancelled, delayed or revised across the whole Southern and Thameslink network.
The rail operators will be running a "severely reduced" service through Gatwick Airport and said these should only be used by key workers and those making urgent journeys.
📢 The power failure has been resolved, however it will take some time to resume a good service.

⚠️ Please only travel if you're a key worker or making an urgent journey.
⏰ There are significant cancellations. Where trains do run, they may be delayed by up to 2 hours.
Anyone who does need to travel is advised to plan their route in advance and to use routes away from Gatwick Airport.
A significant number of journeys have been cancelled completely and some have been delayed by up to two hours.
