A CRASH is causing "very slow" traffic on the A259.
The collision happened near the Haskins Garden Centre between Worthing and Littlehampton shortly before 2pm.
Ambulance crews are in attendance.
A driver told The Argus traffic is "stop-start" and moving "very, very slowly" as a result of the incident.
An AA traffic report said the road has been closed as emergency teams work at the scene.
It stated: "The road is closed and there is very slow traffic due to an accident involving two cars on the A259 Roundstone Bypass Road westbound between the A280 Angmering Bypass (Blue Star Roundabout) and Roundstone Lane.
There is congestion stretching back to past the Honda showroom."
Update
By 5pm, the road was reported to have been cleared with some residual delays in the area.
