FILMING continues on the new television adaptation of Peter James’ crime novels.
Shoreham Port has provided the latest backdrop for filming of the upcoming ITV drama series, Grace.
The camera crew was shooting a scene with actor Craig Parkinson, in the pouring rain, on Sunday afternoon.
The actor, known for his role in BBC drama Line of Duty, could be seen wearing a waterproof jacket to protect himself from the heavy rain and strong winds.
Craig, 44, was accompanied by a dozen crew members wearing masks and high visibility jackets.
The shoot continued into the night, with the star taking to Twitter to share a photo looking out onto a wet and dark Shoreham Port.
The series is an adaptation of two Peter James crime novels, Looking Good Dead and Dead Simple.
It has been written by acclaimed screenwriter Russell Lewis, with filming taking place at locations across Sussex.
In September John Simm, who stars in the lead role as Detective Roy Grace, was spotted filming a scene in Sydney Street in Brighton, accompanied by a small crowd of extras and camera crew.

Shopkeepers said they were asked to temporarily remove signs about face masks and social distancing, as the drama is not set in the Covid-19 era.
The Doctor Who and Life on Mars actor was also seen in October, filming a scene while sitting in a shelter in Western Esplanade, Hove.
Ferndale Road, Hove will also feature in the drama series.
A crew gathered on the residential street while a scene was filmed inside a house.
There were hand sanitising stations and masks available for both actors and crew.
Residents in surrounding streets received a letter through the post informing them of the filming and were asked to park their cars elsewhere.
John Simm’s character, Roy Grace, is described as a “hard-working police officer who has given his life to the job”.
Other cast members include Richie Campbell, known for his role in the Netflix series Top Boy and Rakie Ayola from BBC’s Noughts and Crosses.
The drama will be aired in two parts, with each episode lasting for an hour.
According to the ITV synopsis, John Simm’s character is “fixated by the disappearance of his beloved wife, Sandy, which haunts his thoughts. Grace is walking a career tightrope and risks being moved from the job he loves most.”
The series will be broadcast next year.
