A TERRIFIED man was chased by two hooded men and stabbed through the heart.
Muhammed Jassey was walking in Whitehawk Road, Brighton when two men in dark hooded tops attacked him.
During a 20 second scuffle caught on CCTV he was seen reeling away, and died an hour later from his injury.
Witnesses reported that he seemed “s*** scared” of the men and seemed to plead with them: “No, no, no, I’m not doing that.”
Two men were seen attacking Mr Jassey, aged 26, and a witness said: “They weren't mucking about.”
Police at the scene in April
Footage then showed the two men running back from where they came into a block of flats in Kite Place West, at the junction with Findon Road.
At Brighton Crown Court Daryl Richardson, 26, and Bobby Smith, 22, are jointly accused of murder.
Philip Bennetts QC, prosecuting, said there is CCTV evidence of the incident, witnesses, and CCTV of the two defendants seen wearing similar clothes in the moments leading up to the clash in April this year.

Blood from Mr Jassey was found on a black The North Face jacket and on trainers allegedly worn by Richardson. Meanwhile blood was found on the tracksuit bottoms and socks allegedly worn by Bobby Smith.
Mr Bennetts said: “At 2.30pm on April 5 the ambulance service received a call about a man having been stabbed in Whitehawk Road, Brighton.
“Police and medical personnel attended. They found Muhammed Lamin Jassey who was bleeding from a stab wound to the left side of his chest. Despite all efforts Muhammed Jassey was pronounced dead at 3.07pm.
Forensics officers were called in
“It is the prosecution case that the defendants, acting together, jointly killed Muhammed Jassey.”
One witness said: "I saw two people dressed in black clothing chasing the deceased. The deceased then stopped. He raised his arms up. He didn’t have anything in his hands. He appeared s*** scared. The two in black clothing huddled up on him. There was an exchange of blows.
“The two males who had been pursuing that both repeatedly punched the younger male in a flurry. I wouldn't call the punches significant, but they weren't mucking about."
Richardson, of Cumberland Road, Southsea, Hampshire, and Smith, of Coolham Drive, Brighton, deny murder. The trial continues.
