FATBOY SLIM is set to release a new album tomorrow including new material.

The DJ, who lives in Hove, is the latest in a long line of DJs and producers to compile a Back to Mine mix.

The Back to Mine series invites musicians to choose tracks based on what they would listen to at home after a night out.

Fatboy Slim’s mix includes tracks from artists including from DJ, Jesus Jackson and American R&B singer, Wilbert Harrison.

The 22-track album also includes two new and exclusive tracks from Fatboy Slim - Sunset 3030 (If You Believe) and The Voice of Experience.

In a statement, the DJ said, "Over the years there has been so much action back at mine, so many friends, lovers and lunatics who would congregate after the clubs had closed to laugh, share and swap ideas and tunes and generally put the world to rights.

“This is a collection from the soundtrack of those sessions. Music for the heads rather than just the hips. Straight from the lounge of the funk soul brother."

The album artwork has been illustrated by London-based artist Rich Fairhead, who described the album as “spicy”.

Other famous names to have mixed a Back to Mine album include New Order, Pet Shop Boys, Groove Armarda and Faithless.

During the coronavirus lockdown in March, Fatboy Slim – whose real name is Norman Cook - shared Lockdown Mixtapes each week. In one edition of the lockdown DJ sessions, ten-year-old Nelly Cook joined her famous father, performing under the alias Fat Girl Slim.

The album will be available on all major streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music.

You can also purchase Back to Mine on CD or Vinyl.
