WW2 munitions were found in a field in Cuckfield
BOMB disposal experts were called after munitions were found in a village field.
Police were called over the discovery in Cuckfield this morning.
They said two Second World War mortars had been spotted.
Mid Sussex Police said the bomb disposal experts were called in.
Inspector Darren Taylor said: “I suppose you could say it was an explosive start to the team’s shift today.”
