AN ADORABLE dog is putting many people to shame as he shows them how to wear a face mask properly.
Sussex Police wellbeing pooch Milo has modelled his own mask in a series of poses showing confused people in the county how the items should (and should not) be worn.
Round the neck, over the eyes, under the chin and in the mouth have all been trialled by the dedicated dog, before he settled on the correct approach - strapping the mask behind the ears and over the nose and mouth.
The headshots were shared by Sussex Police on social media in the hope that they would encourage more mask-wearers to follow the proper protocols.
A caption shared alongside the images read: “Meet 4 year old Milo.
“He’s one of our wellbeing dogs and has worked with the force for the last three years.
Meet Milo, one of our wellbeing dogs.

Milo loves making people smile. So what better than getting lots of fuss for wearing a mask.
Face coverings are mandatory in most indoor spaces & we continue to ensure people are complying with the regulations.
Follow his lead - wear yours. pic.twitter.com/CQvsfD2EEW
“Milo loves making people smile and being in the limelight.
“So what better way to do this than getting lots of fuss just for wearing a mask.
“Face coverings are mandatory in most indoor spaces and we continue to ensure people are complying with the regulations, or take action against those who don’t and are not exempt.
“Follow his lead, and continue to wear yours.”
And the force’s four-pawed approach to safety has proved popular, with the post being liked and shared thousands of times across its social media platforms.
