A MULTI-millionaire YouTube star has reportedly splashed £2 million on a loft in Brighton which she plans to turn into offices.
Youtube star Zoella is said to have bought the £1.9m building in the North Laine district and has been permitted to convert part of it to commercial use.
Planning permission documents approved by Brighton and Hove City Council reveal the stars plan to knock down walls on both upper floors, it has been reported.
According to the MailOnline, the 900 sq ft second floor with its "raw white plaster walls" feels "wonderfully Italian".
It comes just days after it was revealed the star, whose real name is Zoe Sugg, was paying a staff member from the government's coronavirus furlough scheme, despite her business booming during lockdown.
Purchase of the freehold of the building will also give Zoella's business, AtoZ Creatives, an income from the three commercial units on the ground floor, currently housing a restaurant and a tattoo studio.
David Toscano, owner of the Cin Cin restaurant, told the MailOnline: "The whole building was on the market for a while and we knew that it had sold as we received a letter to tell us our new landlord would be A to Z.
"Unfortunately because of the lay-out of the restaurant we have not been able to open since St Patrick's Day but we do want to continue at this location when we are able to.
"I don't really know who Zoella is, we're too old for vlogging but we would be happy to continue here."
On Youtube, the star can fetch up to £25,000 from ad placing on her channel, where she has 16m subscribers.
